Tamra was born and raised in the Portland area. She grew up taking care of cousins and neighbor children and knew she always wanted to work with young children. She discovered Montessori in 2003 as a toddler assistant. In 2009 and received her AMS infant and toddler Montessori certificate. In 2019 she became a director of a Montessori school till 2024. She missed being in the classroom and wanted to work with the children again.  

She is married and have two boys ages 18 and almost 14. 

When she’s not at school she enjoys paddle boarding, yoga, reading, crafting, playing handbells and being with her family!
