In addition to supporting young children, we aim to support the whole family, and in doing so, create a connected, compassionate community. We offer a variety of opportunities for parents and families to get to know one another and look forward to the traditions that help define SunGarden as a warm and welcoming place.
Each year the SunGarden community gathers for different events including the Fall Pumpkin Patch Playdate, Spring Hike and Community Picnics throughout the year.
SunGarden believes that parents are the primary guides in the lives of their children. As part of a family’s experience at our school, we strive to offer many opportunities and resources for education about early childhood development and Montessori education. Nurturing the whole child, both in the classroom and at home is something that will provide children with a rich foundation for joyful life-long learning and living.
Our Administrative staff offers bi-monthly Montessori Matters meetings to further introduce the Montessori approach to parents, and to offer ideas for incorporating Montessori principles in everyday life. In addition to these regular meetings, SunGarden offers resources to parents for various parenting classes available within the greater Montessori community, as well as other complimentary child-oriented approaches to raising children.
